EuroEyes is pleased to announce that the Group finished the first surgery day in the new Chengdu clinic on March 29, and the first surgery day in the new Copenhagen clinic on March 28, both with a huge success.
The new Chengdu clinic in China has received rousing welcome by local patients. Equipped with a floor area of 454.8 square meters, the new clinic is located in Chengdu’s Jin Jiang District, close to Taikoo Li, the famous high-end commercial area. The Group believes that Chengdu clinic will be a strong addition to EuroEyes’ existing China clinic network, providing synergy effects to its business development and accelerating the Group’s growth momentum in China. The new clinic is expected to break even in a short period of time.
The newly opened flagship eye clinic in Copenhagen is located in Parken Stadium, Denmark, which had been selected as one of the 12 host venues of UEFA Euro 2021. As an almost 30-year landmark in Copenhagen, Parken Stadium is one of the most prominent sports buildings worldwide. The new flagship eye clinic, in substitution of the existing premises, is deployed to further strengthen EuroEyes' leading position in the Nordic region's vision correction industry, and is expected to continue to grow in the future and thus help even more people with glasses, reading glasses and contact lenses.
Dr. Jørn Slot Jørgensen, the Founder, Chairman and CEO of EuroEyes said, “We are glad that this week we had the first surgery in our two new clinics. Looking ahead, EuroEyes will pay close attention to the market and actively tap on business opportunities arising from growing awareness of vision care. We will continue to identify ideal locations for the establishment of new clinics and further improve the utilization rate of the Group’s existing surgical centres. We are confident that the two-pronged strategy will create greater value for our shareholders and accelerate the overall business growth of the Group.”
